Michelle has been a freelance writer since 2005, when she graduated from California State University, Chico with a degree in social science. Although she considers Huntington Beach, California home, her Francophilia led her to France for a few years, where she lived in Paris and traveled the Continent. Next, her Anglophilia will take her to London in 2010, where she will pursue a master's program at University College London. She loves to explore new cultures and would happily travel just about anywhere.
An avid music fan, Michelle got her first subscription to Rolling Stone magazine at age 12. There isn't a single musical genre she doesn't like, with just some of her favorite artists being Coldplay, Sublime, Aerosmith, Jay-Z, Robert Johnson, Beethoven, old-school Prodigy, Beyonce, Jimmy Buffet, CCR, Mika, Fiona Apple, Wu-Tang, Joan Baez, Johnny Cash, Handel, Son House, and Radiohead. She's also more of a Paul girl than a John, even though her favorite Beatles song is the so-very-George "Within You Without You."
If you like to talk music, you can always comment on one of her articles or follow her on twitter.
